AYEDARA KHADIJAT DAMILARE

Ayedara Khadijat Damilare is a vibrant, dedicated, and driven professional in the field of Estate Surveying and Valuation. She built her academic foundation at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos State, where she earned her National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Estate Management.

During her academic journey, she completed a four-month student industrial training at Guaranty Trust Bank, Jakande Gate, Lagos State, as a Teller Officer. This experience significantly influenced her academic journey as an estate surveyor, providing her with valuable skills in financial management and customer service, which are essential in the real estate sector. The attention to detail required in banking also translated into her academic work, helping her maintain accuracy in assessments and reports, enriching her practical skills, and reinforcing her commitment to excelling in her career as an estate surveyor and valuer.

Upon completing her studies, she fulfilled her mandatory one-year National Youth Service Scheme in Lagos State, where she served as an estate surveyor. This experience profoundly shaped her career in numerous ways, allowing her to apply her academic knowledge in real-world scenarios and enhancing her understanding of property valuation. By working directly with clients and stakeholders, she developed strong communication and negotiation skills, which are essential for success in real estate. Her experience during the National Youth Service Scheme also provided her with insight into the complexities of property management, including navigating regulatory frameworks and market trends. This hands-on experience has been instrumental in shaping her professional identity, boosting her confidence, and solidifying her passion for the field.

After completing her National Youth Service Scheme, she joined Dele Olaiya & Associates in 2023, where she currently thrives in the Valuation Department as an Estate Surveyor.
